John Kellin returns to the Chaska Town Course from Boulder Pointe where he assumed the General Manager duties since 2002. John was an assistant golf professional at the Chaska Town Course from 1997 through 2001, after coming from Ruttgers Sugar Lake Lodge. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota Duluth and has been a golf professional since 1994. John received his Class A PGA status in the spring of 2001..  With 13 years teaching experience, John enjoys the one on one interaction with his golf students and looks forward to providing quality instruction on the lesson tee. John is comfortable teaching golfers of all skill levels and abilities. His greatest enjoyment comes teaching juniors and beginners. Tom Peterson comes from Phoenix, Arizona where he was an assistant golf professional at the Point Hilton at Tapatio Cliffs. Tom holds a BS degree in Business Management from  the University  of Minnesota. He also holds a degree in Golf and Turfgrass Management from Mundus Golf Institute in Phoenix. Tom has been a Golf Professional since 1995 and is currently enrolled in the PGA apprentice program.Tom is excited about the growing interest in golf in the Midwest and is committed to improving the enjoyment of the game through quality e instructions.

The Wilderness At Fortune Bay
The Wilderness practice area brings the best elements in Northern Minnesota Golf to a learning environment. Our practice area was developed for golfers of all abilities, from serious, single-digit handicappers, to those beginning to learn the game. At the Practice Center, you’ll find that as much care went into the development of this challenging setting as the course itself. Golfers have the opportunity to practice every shot required on any golf course all within the idyllic surroundings of Fortune Bay Resort.The driving range is 300 yards wide with a bentgrass fairway. Wildflower At Fairhills
Bill Hensel, Head Golf Professional, PGA Mmeber will provide all aspects of the game within a friendly and professional atmosphere. Clinics or private lessons can be custom tailored for your request and could serve well as an enjoyable beginning to your golf outing. Indoor evening sessions can also be arranged within an informational format. Pricing is reasonable, and is dependent upon group size and duration of clinic or lesson. Scheduling in advance is necessary.

Golf Tec
During a lesson, GolfTEC students wear a small harness with sensors that are used to measure the golfer's key movements through the golf swing. This information is compared with GolfTEC's proprietary database of top TOUR Professionals. We have tested more than 110 Tour Professionals to help us understand the fundamentals of the golf swing. In addition to motion analysis, the lessons utilize a split-screen video comparison of the student's swing with the swings of top-name TOUR Professionals. Biofeedback technology is used to provide instant feedback as students work to achieve ideal swing parameters. Students can also review their lesson on GolfTEC's web site with a WebLesson featuring video clips, instructor comments, video drills and notes.
