Our Head Professional is more than just a Golf Pro, He's also our working Superintendent and has been part of our team since 1997.  Tom lives the game of golf and in addition to being an excellent Instructor; he also keeps the turf in excellent shape. He is an excellent player of golf and has all of the course records on Birch Ridge Golf Course; He beat his son (Tim's) record of 67 on 7/13/97 with a 66, then beat his own record on 6/28/00 with a 63 and tied that record again on 7/4/04. Also in 2004, he set a new record for the back nine holes with a 29 (6 under Par) on 10/1/04.  He also won the Wells Fargo (Charity) All Alaskan Pro Skins Game in both 2003, 2004, And 2006.

Settlers Bay Golf Club
During an individual lesson, the instructor will work on the area of the student’s game that is requested by the student. The other form of instruction is through a series of 6 lessons where the instructor will offer 6 different topics throughout the series or cater the lesson to the students individual needs. This game improvement series is recommended for the beginner or the student looking to improve in all areas of their game.
